Help Monitor Horseshoe Crabs
In the early summer season, particularly during the evenings of new and full moon high tides, horseshoe crabs gather at the shoreline to mate and lay eggs. It is important to monitor their presence and activity since there has been a steady decline in populations in the Long Island Sound. This data will provide insight into the status of their populations and help us better understand how to maintain their presence in our local waters.
