The Coalition to Save Hempstead Harbor continues to be an important voice in the community. For nearly 35 years we have worked to protect our local environment. Operational expenses continue as well, and these can be met only by the generosity of community members.

Volunteer Services

If you have special talents and can volunteer
your services, please call 516-801-6792. We
could use help with:

  • Attending and reporting on local meetings
  • Beach cleanups
  • Data entry
  • Event planning
  • Fishing reports
  • Grant writing
  • Fund-raising
  • Photography
  • Technology
  • Water-quality observations

elected officials. You can find a list of local/state/federal
